First aid
The medical supervision is in the hands of Red Cross Event Assistance dept. IJmond. They are present with several volunteers, both from posts and with bikes.
The bikers are present near the south pier, at the marina and in the Spaarnwoude recreation area. They can be called on the calamity number stated on the stamp card.
Fixed first aid stations on the route are located at the start, in the Zeewijk nature playground and at the Kop van de Haven stamping post. Naturally, the necessary medical care is also available at the finish area.
The volunteers of the Red Cross Event Assistance IJmond are broadly trained.
