First aid
The medical supervision is in the hands of Red Cross Event Assistance dept. IJmond. They are present with several volunteers, both from posts and with bikes.

Bikers are evenly distributed along all walking routes. They can be contacted using the emergency number listed on the stamp card. First aid on the beach and the Zuidpier (south pier) is provided by members of the IJmuider Reddingsbrigade (Lifeguard Brigade).
Of course, the necessary medical care is also available at the start/finish area.
The volunteers of the Red Cross Event Assistance IJmond are broadly trained.
